If you haven’t heard by now, WordPress 2.6 from WordPress.org has been released. There are a number of huge updates in this release, but also a number of great feature enhancements. (Click here to download – direct link)
One particular feature of note is the ability to go into “turbo” mode, which will allow you to cache common files and images onto your machine for faster browser.
WordPress has come a really long ways from where it started and I’m proud to even be able to say that I have been involved (even from a distance).
